Fresh roasting coffee beans, a hint of vanilla ice cream, and a dash of fresh baked caramel toffee cookies depicts the welcoming aroma of Dripp in Chino Hills. Euphoric trance music, low lighting, modern and industrial decor, steel and wooden accents with a vintage flare, Dripp offers its customers a unique experience with not only its chic atmosphere, but more importantly its creative and tantalizing menu.
Dripp at the Shoppes in Chino Hills in all of its glory
Dripp is located in the heart of the Shoppes at Chino Hills. With two stories of lounging available for students, business professionals, artists, and coffee lovers, Dripp is the ideal location for just about anyone. The moment I walked into Dripp I fell in love; as if the vibrant hanging plants on the patio wasn’t enough, the interior is full of unique vintage and modern intricacies that set it apart from every restaurant, lounge, bakery, and coffee shop.
The unique modern, vintage, industrial aesthetic of Dripp’s first floor
Greeted by an extremely friendly Dripp specialist, she handed me their wooden menu and explained it to me in its entirety. With “cooling aids”, “specialty teas”, espressos, Turkish coffee, the “Dripp Bar”, ice cream, cookies, and ice cream sandwiches, I was sure my face was glowing like a kid in a candy store.
Cookies anyone?
Being Lebanese, I can guarantee you my veins are full of Turkish coffee, not blood, so I was compelled to try the “Bozo”, which is a cup of Dripp’s special Turkish coffee graced with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
The delicious “Bozo” and an Iced Vanilla Latte
Served in a large beautiful porcelain cup, I indulged in the “Bozo” and concluded that Dripp did indeed serve a better cup of Turkish coffee than my Teta (grandma). This is a secret I’ll take to the grave however, she never needs to know! When my amazing cup of heaven was finished, I flipped over my coffee cup, rested it on the saucer, and waited for my friend to tell me my fortune. In the Middle Eastern culture this is very common. My friend read me the images that the grounds of coffee painted on my cup and told me a little bit about my past and my future. There was something so beautiful about being in a modern and chic café and partaking in my culture; Sasha and I didn’t feel weird or embarrassed, in fact, we felt right at home.

Dripp has not only made its way to the top as my favorite café but it has also made its way into my heart. Dripped heavenly perfection in each cup, sweet and delicious treats and creamy goodness - Dripp has revolutionized the world of cafés. Commuter students, indulge in a “Dripp” of heaven during your daily commute to UCR or on your way home! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
